Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is a glycoprotein hormone found in both males and females. In males HCG acts similarly to luteinizing hormone, stimulating the Leydig cells of the testicles to increase production of sperm and testosterone.

Using HCG

HCG can be used diagnostically to distinguish whether one has primary, secondary, or tertiary hypogonadism or it can be used as monotherapy (single medication therapy) to boost endogenous testosterone levels in men who prefer not to use testosterone. Although, when used for the latter, it tends to not provide long term benefits.

Benefits of HCG in conjunction with Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)

Testosterone replacement therapy can and may cause one to become infertile or make it difficult to conceive. This is an important consideration when deciding on whether or not TRT is right for you. The use of HCG, however, while on testosterone replacement therapy is beneficial because it can help maintain fertility. This is important for men who wish to be on testosterone replacement therapy but also hope to one day have children.

Treatments

HCG comes in the form of subcutaneous injection and is very safe and painless. If you and your Next Level TRT provider decide HCG is the best treatment option for you, you will receive this medication in your monthly shipment and will be instructed on how frequently to inject.
